Crossjoint, Personalised Roach (M for Martin :P), Strawberry Rips, Fresh Grind, Mine and Ben’s Easter Sunday wake up call.
Haven’t got photos of my other creations, but I love trying new things whilst rolling, crossjoint was difficult but once you get the hang of rolling them it’s alright, just need a shit load of weed. Favorites in the house are a ‘shotgun’ joint (two joints wrapped tightly together to make a double barreled J) and a ‘Cannon’ (same as a shotgun but with 3 joints wrapped together), both very easy to roll. Got big plans for a metre long joint for when we get back which will have around £60 worth of green in it, gonna take a good hour or so to prep it though :).
I’m not a stoner, honest.
Why is it that when you first go away somewhere (i.e. back home from uni) all you wanna do is leave and go back to where you came from (uni), yet after spending a sustained amount of time at wherever you’ve gone away to (home), you don’t wanna travel back (to uni). Obviously I miss uni and it’ll be good to be living in my own house again rather than my parents, but i’ve had an awesome time with friends and family over the past few weeks and it kinda feels like i’m leaving too soon.
Still haven’t packed or even thought about what to pack yet either, and just KNOW that i’m gonna leave something important behind. Is that a bad habit? Probably. Fuck I still don’t even know for sure how i’m getting back, I know one of my friends is driving but he’s been away with his girlfriend for the past week or so and I haven’t spoken to him. Train from Cornwall to Leeds? No thanks.
I decided to take a break from smoking green over the christmas break, felt good and confirmed my beliefs that it’s a) not addictive, as I had no cravings to smoke it and didn’t wake up each day in a ball hugging my pillow and b) it has no lasting effects as i’ve been bright as a button the past few weeks and even won a pub quiz :P.
However, today is the day I rediscover a love of mine, and light up a big fat joint. Peace x
(no one’s gonna read that, and if you did, i’m sorry, it was hardly entertaining.)
So I decided to cook for the family tonight and test my cooking skills after watching episodes of Come Dine with Me all day… Thought it’d be cool as well to make my own recipe and see if it tasted nice… or turned out to be a disaster and be a massive hint to just use Jamie Oliver’s cookbook next time…
Literally never cooked anything as good, was soooo tasty, so decided to write down the recipe so I can make it again when I get back to uni :). Thought i’d post it on here so that if I lose the text file or whatever i’ll be able to find it again. But you should make it, it was scrumptious!

Sweet Potato Mash
Peel and cut Sweet Potato into medium chunks, boil with salted water in saucepan until soft enough to slice easily

I decided to go for a white wine which I think went down well with it :).
Here’s the finished result… excuse the mess i’m not the cleanest cook :P
